Iron Workers Local 417

Ironworkers Local # 417 is chartered by the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental & Reinforcing Ironworkers and is affiliated with the NYS AFL-CIO. Our Office and Training Facility are located in the Town of Newburgh in the beautiful Hudson Valley.

Our goal is to obtain work under covered employment for our members, and to supply our union contractors with well-trained, highly-skilled Ironworkers for jobs performed within our jurisdiction.

The vote for the new Government Center in Goshen is Thursday May 3rd, 2012 at 3:30, we need a good turnout please be there by 2:45 at the 911 Center, 22 Wells Farm Rd (off 61/2 Station Road) in Goshen.

Local 417 Scholarship Golf outing is scheduled for May 19th, foursomes are going fast. Please stop by the Hall to sign up. We cannot hold spots.

Thank you for the Scholarship applications we received. The deadline was April 20th. We will be meeting soon to make a decision.

Monthly meeting will be held May 4th, Nominations for office will be held, decision on where monies will be dispersed from pay increase and the 3rd and final reading for the Market Recovery will take place. For more information go online to Union Market Recovery.
